“I like Post Malone’s first album ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’. I love J.Cole. I don’t listen to anybody’s music. Nothing changed. I just don’t know.

“I don’t really listen to anybody’s music. The reason I’m listening to my album now is because it just came out. In few weeks, I probably won’t listen to it as much as I do now.”

Simi and Adekunle Gold have been married since January 9, 2019.

The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare, in 2020.

Despite Simi’s limited music listening habits, she has achieved success in the industry, gaining prominence in 2014 with her single “Tiff” and owning her record label, Studio Brat.
