Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has constituted a seven-man advisory committee to advise the state government on the full implementation of the local government autonomy.
The committee, according to a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Yusuf Sanda, said it was in pursuant to the recent Supreme Court judgement.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government and Traditional Affairs and member representing Mbamnga State Constituency, Mr. Abel Peter Diah will serve as the chairman of the committee.

Other members include Mr. Gebon Timothy Kataps, Secretary to the Government of Taraba State; Barr. Yakubu Maikasuwa (SAN), Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and Alh. Hassan Aminu, ALGON Chairman.
Others are Lilian Jonathan, Director Inspectorate of Bureau for local government and chieftaincy; Mr. Bala Hussein and Mr. Ezekiel Polycarp who will serve as Secretary.
The statement stated that the committee would be inaugurated on Monday (today) by governor Agbu Kefas.
