Meanwhile, a company named in the alleged N463 million fraud has demanded the removal of its name from the report by the Kaduna State House of assembly.
Misha Travels Limited, through its director, A. O. Abubakar, stated Wednesday that the assembly’s report erroneously mentioned the company’s name.
The firm clarified that it has never engaged in any fraudulent activities and suggested that the assembly might have confused its name with another entity, adding that it is working with the state assembly to correct the error and ensure accurate news coverage.
In a statement yesterday, a Director in company, A. O. Abubakar, said, “We categorically state that these reports are entirely false. Misha Travels Ltd has not engaged in any wrong dealings with any entity, including the previous Kaduna State administration. The reports erroneously reference our company.

“It appears the State Assembly may have confused our company with another entity whose name bears resemblance to ours when written as an acronym.
“Given the nature of our business—international travel—and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA) rules we abide by, we maitan immaculate records of all transactions and issuances.
“We have furnished the state assembly with these details to help clear this matter once and for all,” he said.
