”Your blessing comes with side effects. Expect a case of jealous, bitter, gossiping people. But keep your joy regardless,” he wrote.

The reigning CAF African footballer of the year also accompanied his message with photos of himself and his daughter, Haly, posing outside a private jet.

This comes less than a month after the Napoli striker, has lashed out at Finidi George, following his resignation as the head coach of Nigeria.

According to reports, Finidi had accused Osimhen of pulling out of games for the national team with minor injuries.

The manager was said to have made the claim at a recent meeting with minister of sports development, John Enoh, and top officials of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).

Osimhen, who netted 15 goals for Napoli in Serie A this season, claims he suffered an ankle injury against Lecce on May 25.

Speaking during a live session on his Instagram account, the 25-year-old said he told Finidi to allow him to stay with the players in the camp despite the injury, but he refused.
