Twenty-four miscreants have been arrested for allegedly robbing passersby and over being involved in other illegal activities in the Oshodi area of Lagos State.
The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, who disclosed this on his X handle, said, “24 miscreants arrested at Oshodi yesterday for robbing passersby and other illegal activities were arraigned and sentenced to two weeks imprisonment by the mobile court sitting at Oshodi.”
Meanwhile, Wahab disclosed that operatives of the Drainage Enforcement Department from the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources had commenced removal of contravening structures on the Ajiran-Regional Road Collector drain in Eti-Osa LGA as part of measures to de-flood the area.
