The Rotary Club of Abuja Imperial, in partnership with other organisations, has provided a free maternal and child health outreach to over 350 women and children in the Karnmajiji community of Abuja.
During the exercise, the President of the Rotary Club of Abuja Imperial, Rotarian Martins Awofadeju, emphasised the importance of supporting vulnerable groups to prevent illnesses and improve health outcomes.
He stated, “Due to their vulnerability to certain illnesses, these tests will help us determine the necessary actions to take. This initiative, targeted at pregnant women and children under five, follows the programme we conducted in April this year. Its essence is to improve the health status of mothers and children in this community.’’
