RCCG donates solar-powered streetlights to community

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Christ Church parish has donated 10 solar-powered street lights to light up the Redemption Crescent Gbagada, in the Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony recently, the Pastor-in-Charge, RCCG Lagos Province 35, Pastor Oluremi Morgan, said the gesture arose out of the need for the church to give back to the community and also as part of its contribution towards enhancing security around the crescent.

In his remarks, the Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Barr Moyosore Ogunlewe, thanked the Church for the kind gesture and promised that the local government would continue to partner with the RCCG and other relevant stakeholders to enhance the rapid development of the area.

The Chairman was represented at the commissioning ceremony by his Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties, Hon Omo Alufokhai.

Other members of the RCCG in attendance at the commissioning ceremony include Pastor Yomi Sanya, Assisting Pastor, RCCG Christ Church; Pastor Kayode Tomosori; Pastor Igho Efekhemo and  Architect Olowofoyeku.
