Troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), responsible for maintaining peace in Plateau, Bauchi and Kaduna states, have been urged to sustain their efforts to ensure continued stability.
Major-General Abdulsalami Abubakar, the General Officer Commanding the 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army and commander of the OPSH, issued this directive on Monday at its headquarters in Jos. The occasion was the Eid-el-Kabir celebration organised for the troops.

“I acknowledge and applaud your efforts, but I urge you not to relent. Remain focused on consolidating the gains of our recent achievements.
“We must intensify our efforts to completely eradicate kidnapping, cultism, ethno-religious conflicts and other security threats within our command areas. I want to reassure you that our service chiefs will continue to provide the necessary leadership, welfare and logistics to motivate you for effective and successful operations,’ Abubakar said.
