A woman, Rafa’atu Babangida, has dragged her ex-husband, Ahmad Salihu, to a Sharia court sitting in Fagge, ‘Yan Alluna, Kano, Kano State, for allegedly taking away her wedding gifts (kayan lefe) after their separation.
The prosecutor, Barr Nura M. Sheriff, presented a witness.
The defence counsel, Barr Dan Agundi, prayed the court to set a date for cross examination of the witness; which the court granted.
