The FCT Police Command said it has arrested two suspected kidnappers and recovered exhibits from them.
The Commissioner of Police (CP), Benneth Igweh, who disclosed this to newsmen during the parade of the suspects, said they were arrested following credible intelligence information that they were planning to kidnap a clergyman and an estate developer last Friday in Abuja.
He said police detectives from the Lubge Division swung into action and arrested Samson Zach at the Rehab Estate and Ademola Ajala at Zone 9, Lugbe.
He said the suspects confessed during interrogation to belong to a gang of eight notorious kidnappers responsible for a series of kidnappings within the FCT and its environs.
