The Oyo State Government has taken a significant step towards bolstering infrastructure and advancing the state’s aviation sector by signing a concession agreement with Bovas and Company Limited.
The 25-year agreement entails the development and operation of a cutting-edge aviation fuel storage facility with a capacity of 500,000 litres.
The signing ceremony, held at the Office of the Director-General of the Oyo State Investment Promotion Agency (OYSIPA), Mr Tilewa Folami, witnessed the presence of key stakeholders from both parties. Government officials and representatives from Bovas and Company Limited were among the attendees.

In a statement shared on the official Facebook page of the state government, it was highlighted that this agreement marked a significant milestone in the Governor Seyi Makinde administration’s commitment to upgrading the Ibadan airport to international standard.
Signing the agreement on behalf of the government, Folami reiterated the administration’s dedication to enhancing the state’s aviation infrastructure for the benefit of its citizens and the aviation industry as a whole.
