Governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State has commissioned a road project named after him in Sokoto State reconstructed by Governor Ahmed Aliyu’s administration at the cost of N2.1 billion.
Unveiling the road on Monday, Radda described Aliyu as a bulldozer, saying the people of Sokoto were lucky to have such a focused and result-oriented governor.
“Aliyu is among the first five governors in the country that have performed credibility well in their first year in office.
“But we are not surprised because the governor is being mentored by our father and former governor of the state, Senator Aliyu Wamakko.

“We knew what he (Wamakko) did to the people of Sokoto State during his time,” he said.
Radda, therefore, called on the people of the state to support the government in its effort to restore security in some parts of the state.
Earlier, Governor Aliyu said the project was in fulfillment of his campaign promises to the people of the state.
