The National Youth Stakeholders Forum, a body representing the interests of Nigerian youths, has appointed Muhammad Auwal Musa as its chairman, and Chinazam Ike as vice chairman.
They were appointed at the forum’s meeting held in Abuja, according to a statement from the group’s media and publicity office.
The statement said the meeting was on promoting peace and unity among the youth across the country.
It was attended by youth leaders of political parties in Nigeria, representatives of ethnic nationalities, young parliamentarians caucus of the National Assembly, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Odua People’s Congress (OPC), Ijaw Youth Council, National Youth Parliaments, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing Worldwide and the Congress of Arewa Youth for Peace and Equity, National Association of Nigerian Students, among others.

The forum discussed crucial topics of youth unity and inclusion, recognizing the immense potential and energy of young people in shaping the nation’s future.
Musa reiterated the forum’s commitment to empowering the youth and ensuring their voices are heard.
“The forum promotes unity, inclusivity and collaboration among young individuals, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to nation-building efforts,” he said.
