Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has officially inaugurated the newly constructed 15km Garaku-Gurku-Dari Road in Kokona LGA, emphasising its vital role in enhancing economic activities and improving the well-being of residents.
The road, completed at a cost of N3,670,311,759.22, was commissioned during a colourful ceremony attended by government officials and community members.
Governor Sule underscored his administration’s commitment to providing essential road infrastructure across the state to facilitate economic growth and connectivity between communities.
He pointed out the importance of rural roads in enabling the transportation of agricultural produce and other goods to urban centres, thus stimulating economic development.

Expressing satisfaction with the completion of the Garaku-Gurku-Dari road, Governor Sule assured that more rural roads would be constructed to further enhance accessibility and promote economic activities.
He announced plans to commence the construction of additional roads, including the Angoro-Arusu-Amba-Bassa road, Ashige-Gidan Buba-Ugah-Fadaman Bauna, and Jangwa-Ribi-Agwatashi-Azara-Ampana-Awe roads, among others.
