In an effort to identify and honour executive leaders advancing technology innovation throughout the continent, Edniesal Consulting, the organisers of the CIO & C-Suite Awards Africa, has revealed that the awards would now be presented in 11 nations.
While addressing newsmen in Lagos, the Chairman and team lead of the award project, Mr. Oluwakayode Adigun stated that the forthcoming award ceremony in November will feature 11 countries including Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Morocco, Egypt, Zambia, and Nigeria
According to him, this year’s edition will be looking beyond the regular technical leaders and will be extended to accommodate management personnel or executive leaders involved in implementing innovations around technology and digital evolution.
He also stated that the Awards will be presented in various categories, reflecting different aspects of technological innovation and leadership excellence.

“Our main Objective is that we are trying to create a niche and an ecosystem for the African community where we have value shops that compete with Microsoft, Cisco, IBM and other tech giants in the world,” he explained
The Convener of the CIO & C-Suite Awards and CIO Club Africa, Abiola Laseinde stated that it is important to recognize Chief information Officers as they are the people behind the scene working tirelessly to help navigate difficult times from the covid.
