NSCDC intercepts car with 30 stolen goats in Ekiti

Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ekiti State have intercepted a Toyota Camry loaded with 30 suspected stolen goats on Ado-Ikere road.

It was gathered that when the driver sighted operatives of the Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) of NSCDC abandoned the car and ran away with other suspected accomplices.

The command’s spokesman, Afolabi Tolulope, therefore, called on victims to immediately visit the CTU base along Afao Road, Ado-Ekiti, to identify their goats, noting that 14 of the goats had died due to stress while others were in critical conditions as they were deprived of water for over eight hours.
