Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a 32-year-old man, Emeka Okorie, for allegedly stealing a diesel truck belonging to Lumie Haulage Breweries Company, Enugu State, in Asaba.
The spokesman of the command, Edafe Bright, who disclosed this to newsmen, explained that the suspect was arrested with the aid of technically-driven intelligence by operatives of the B Division, Asaba, during a stop-and-search duty on the Benin-Asaba Expressway.
He said the truck, with registration number: ENU 564 ZU, loaded with 840 crates of Life Lager Beer, was driven by one Collins Ogbodo Ude, a driver with the Lumie Haulage Breweries Company, Enugu.
He added that the truck was stolen from where it was parked at the Umuasea Bus Stop in Udi LGA of Enugu State.

Edafe, who said one cut-to-size locally made double-barrel pistol and four live cartridges were recorded, disclosed that efforts were ongoing to arrest two other suspects that escaped.
