Supporters of Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero got charged on Saturday when he walked out of the mini palace in Nassarawa to address them.
Ado Bayero moved there when he returned to the ancient Kano city in the early hours of Saturday.
Bayero was removed along with four other emirs by the Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, following the repeal of the Emirates Council Law.
After signing the law, Governor Yusuf announced Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II as the new emir of Kano on Thursday and he was given his reinstatement letter on Friday.
Despite directive asking the deposed emirs to leave official residences in 48 hours, Aminu Ado Bayero, however, returned to Kano.
