The African Centre for Leadership Strategy and Development (Centre LSD), a non-governmental organization, has extended a helping hand to the Christ Foundation Orphanage in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
Led by the Commissioner for Projects for LSD SET 21, Akiwale Oluwatobi Fadike, it said the initiative was aimed at fulfilling a graduation criterion for a set of over 100 students while providing support to more than 100 orphans and widows.
Speaking on the significance of the outreach, Fadike stressed the importance of recognising the needs of marginalized groups in society.
She called upon NGOs, government bodies, private sectors, and individuals to extend their support, emphasizing the shared responsibility towards the less privileged.
