Founder of Africado Foundation, Richardson Ojeka, has expressed worry over what he described as the lack of opportunities for youths to thrive in the country.
Ojeka spoke Saturday in Abuja on the sidelines of his birthday ceremony and the launch of a book authored by him, ‘The Entrepreneur’s Manual: An unofficial guide to building yourself as an entrepreneur.’
He said: “It is important we launch the book at this time because young people are not getting access to opportunities at all. The access to opportunities for young people is very slim.
“So, it is important for us to find alternative measures to become successful. That’s why I titled it ‘…the unofficial guide to building yourself as an entrepreneur’. It’s unofficial. Not conventional.”
The entrepreneur appealed to the federal government to invest more on youths.
“The government needs to invest more in the young people. Young people have potential. The government needs to invest more in them.
“The government needs to be more intentional about creating programmes and seeing that they are followed through,” he said.
Creative Director and Co-Founder of Takeout Media, Elijah Affi, while recommending the book to everyone said it gives vivid details on how to become successful.
