Kano Shari’a court remands 2 for stealing wrappers

A Kano State Sharia court sitting at PRP, Kano, has ordered the remand of two friends, Jibrin Isyaku and Naziru Hassan, in a correctional centre for allegedly breaking into a shop and stealing clothing materials.

Earlier, the prosecution told the court that the defendants broke into a shop belonging to one Gaddafi Muhammad of Tsamiya Babba in Gezawa LGA and stole with materials which included 45 wrappers, 11 pieces of brocade and 17 pairs of shoes, all valued at over N800,000.
