Olamide Taiwo, a 3-year-old boy, who was carted away in a stolen vehicle has been found in Owode-Oniri, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
City and Crime reports that the three-year-old boy was inside his father’s car when suspected thieves hijacked the vehicle and zoomed away in Ikenne, Ogun State, on Saturday.
The father, Taiwo Fayobi, reported to the police that his Toyota Camry car marked with registration number PKA 446GV was stolen when he alighted from the car to open the gate in his house.
Confirming the incident, police spokesman Omolola Odutola, explained that the car, whose engine was running, was stolen when Fayobi came down to open his gate.

“One Taiwo Fayobi, resident in Ikenne Ogun State, reported that he alighted from his Toyota Camry PKA 446 GV to open his gate, two hoodlums zoomed off with his car, with his three-year-old son inside.
“The complainant came down from the car to open his gate while the engine was running, two hoodlums, from nowhere, entered the Toyota Camry with the three-year-old boy sleeping at the back seat, then drove off,” Odutola said.
Odutola later told newsmen in Abeokuta that the boy had been found by a Good Samaritan in Lagos State.
She explained that the baby was found with the tag “ Ikenne”.
Odutola, however, said the stolen car had not been found.
