Suspected thieves have reportedly stolen a car conveying a three-year-old boy in Ikenne, Ogun State.
It was gathered that the boy’s father, Taiwo Fayobi, had alighted from the car to open the gate only for the hoodlums to hijack the vehicle and zoomed off.
Police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident on her X handle on Saturday.
“One Taiwo Fayobi resident in Ikenne Ogun State, reported he alighted from his Toyota Camry PKA 446 GV to open his gate, two hoodlums zoomed off with his car, with 3-year-old son inside,” she said.

Odutola urged social media influencers to share the statement widely in order to rescue the boy.
Responding to questions, she said, “Yes, the complainant came down from the car to open his gate. While the engine was running, two hoodlums from nowhere entered the Toyota Camry with the three-year-old boy sleeping at the back seat, then drove off.”
