Two people have been confirmed dead and three others injured in another gas explosion that rocked the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos on Tuesday evening.
This was coming barely one week after more than 20 persons sustained burns in a similar gas explosion in the Ajegunle area of the state.
The latest explosion occurred at a gas retail shop in the Abule Folly area of Ibeju-Lekki.
It was learnt that the explosion claimed the lives of two persons, including a male customer.

Our correspondent gathered that some shops located near the scene of the incident were razed down by the ensuing fire.
Lagos State police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident.
