Department of State Security (DSS), on Sunday, sealed off AL-Ihsan clinic in Unguwan Rogo Community in Jos North local government area of Plateau State.

The incident sparked reactions, with many attributing the death to the surgery, raising concern about his medical specialty.

However, Abdul denied the accusation, stating that the surgery did not lead to her death.

Sources from the community said the action by the DSS responded to a complaint filed by some members of the community to state ministry of health over alleged quackery at the clinic.

According to Sadis Muhammad Albasu, a community member who shared his account of the situation, ”The primary reason for sealing the hospital is the alleged quackery activities at the clinic, which came to light after a woman’s death following a surgical procedure there. The issue is that Mr. Lukman is not a qualified medical doctor; in fact, he is not a doctor at all, and therefore lacks the necessary qualifications to perform surgical procedures.

“A lot of people are complaining and that was why the matter was reported to the state ministry of health for necessary actions. He is not doctor. He is currently schooling but he has been carrying out surgery on people in the community.”
