The Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Federal Mortgage, Shehu Usman Osidi, has inaugurated performance management champions of the bank in order to meet its operational target.
The event which took place in Abuja on Thursday also coincided with the employee sensitization on performance management system by officials from the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
He said, “The journey started a few years ago, with the receipt of a circular from the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), in which MDAs were directed to commence the implementation of core performance management policies and establish clear performance metrics for all civil servants. Accordingly, we have in existence within our Human Resources Group, a Performance Management Unit that will be coordinating this endeavour.
“It is also in recognition of the imperative for improved service delivery based on performance enhancement, that this Management has embedded “Enthroning a Organizational/Employee Performance Robust Management System” as the 6th pillar of our 7-Point Agenda. This also aligns with the sixth pillar of the Bank’s 5 Year Strategic which is ‘Building High Performing Teams,” Osidi said.
