Police have arrested a 19-year-old Mustapha Musa, a resident of Old Kwata area of Bosso, Minna, Niger State while robbing students of Federal University of Technology, Minna, of their valuables at a female hostel in Bosso Area.
The Niger State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this said, “On 01/5/2024 at about 0300hrs, a distress call was received that suspected robbers were robbing female students in their hostel in Bosso area of Minna.
“The police patrol team attached to Bosso Div quickly rushed to the scene and arrested one Mustapha Musa (19) of Old Kwata area of Bosso from the ceiling at the scene.”

Abiodun said one sharp knife, seven phones already snatched from the students, two power banks, two ear-pods and a bag were recovered from the suspect.
He said preliminary investigation also revealed that the suspect was a notorious robber who was identified to have perpetrated similar act at the second gate of Bosso campus of the same university in February this year.
