A son of the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, and daughter of Bichi Emir, Nasiru Ado Bayero, have tied the nuptial knot in Kano.
Sanusi Aminu Bayero married Rumana Nasir Ado Bayero at the palace of the Emir of Kano, on Friday.
The royal wedding, which held at about 10am, was officiated by the Chief Imam of Kano, Professor Sani Zahradeen.
Kano deputy governor, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, who stood for the groom, sought Bthe hand of Rumana from her ‘wali,’ Dan Iyan Kano, Ahmad Ado Bayero, and paid N250,000 as dowry.

The wedding fatiha had in attendance dignitaries from far and wide.
The groom graduated from MTI University, Cairo, Egypt, with BSc in Business Management in 2020 and is currently working with the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU), while the bride is a graduate of Building Surveying from Portsmouth University, United Kingdom.
Also, the Bichi emir’s eldest son, Abdulkadir Nasir Ado Bayero, will be getting married to the daughter of a late Minister of Agriculture, Abba Sayyad Ruma, today.
