The Nigerian Army has concluded training on weapons’ bearing for 128 men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) at the Kogi State Command.
Speaking yesterday during the passing out ceremony at the Chari Maigumeri Command Army Record Lokoja, Zonal Commander of NSCDC in charge of Zone H, ACG Osemwegie Osaro Lugard said the training would enhance the capacity of its men to tackle all menace of kidnapping, armed robbery, vandalisation of critical infrastructure and other crimes in the state.
Also Speaking, the Kogi State Commander of the NSCDC, Mr Everistus Obiyo, expressed delight with the successful training of his men and assured that the command would continue to work in collaboration with other security agencies to rid the state of all forms of crime.
