The federal government has initiated “critical discussion” on the establishment of a N100 billion Police Housing Fund with a view to catering for its officers nationwide, the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has said.

The police chief, who disclosed this in Abuja on Monday during the launch of the inaugural Nigerian Police Housing Summit with the theme ‘Renewed Hope for Police Housing in Nigeria’, said the initiative was to boost the morale of officers.
