Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Kwara State, has matriculated 1,214 students for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Speaking during the 19th matriculation ceremony, the Vice Chancellor (VC), Prof Noah Yusuf, warned the new students against engaging in anti-social activities, hence that drug abuse, cultism, examination malpractice, theft and other ills would not be tolerated.
Prof Yusuf emphasised the importance of upholding high moral standards while pursuing quality education, saying they should utilise their time wisely and focus on their studies.

In his matriculation lecture, the first in the university’s history, Professor Oguntola Jelil Alamu from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Osun State University, Osogbo, who joined online, encouraged the students to embrace change and actively participate in the economic transformation of the country.
