The registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof Ishaq Oloyede, has appealed to candidates who experienced glitches in the course of their examinations to remain calm as they would be rescheduled to write the exam.

Oloyede, who made the appeal after monitoring the exam in Kogi-Bwari, Abuja on Friday, said that so far, the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) had been going on smoothly as only one centre had been reported to have encountered issues.
The JAMB boss also disclosed that new mechanisms had been put in place to address exam glitches and tackle fraudsters as well.
