Two of the eight remaining recently abducted victims from Janjala community have escaped after their abductors dozed off in their den in the Rijana Forest in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State.
A resident of Janjala, Shehu Ibrahim, said the victims escaped around 12pm on Tuesday after their abductors slept off after drinking wines, liquors and smoking hemp.
Ibrahim said, “Just yesterday, Tuesday, two of the victims were killed after they released three among the victims, including a nursing mother. Later at about 5pm, a village head of one of the neighbouring villages, called to inform us that two persons had escaped from their abductors and were in his palace.”
