ADSI @ 5: We empowered over 5,000 youth, women — Founder

The Founder and President of the Arewa Development Support Initiative (ADSI), Khuraira Musa, has disclosed that the NGO has empowered over 5000 youths and women through skill acquisition, with thousands more benefiting from medical and educational outreach.

 She stated that ADSI is providing revolving funding for small business owners which has been successful while many more are coming.

 Ms. Musa disclosed this in a statement in Abuja yesterday while commemorating the organisation’s five years of establishment and impact.

 She also reaffirmed her commitment to exploring numerous opportunities for empowering more youths and women across Northern Nigeria.

 She noted that ADSI intends to form partnerships with reputable organisations to improve the lives of Arewa youths and Nigerians at large. “ADSI has grown in the past five years leveraging only on our member’s dues contributions. We are now looking outward by partnering with Federal, State, and local communities including businesses that are into social enterprise,” she said.

 Ms. Musa highlighted ADSI’s readiness to seek grants and collaborate with international NGOs and CSOs to expand its reach and uplift lives.
