Women’s role in Tinubu’s govt remains significant – NPC Commissioner

A Federal Commissioner representing Kaduna State in the National Population Commission (NPC), Sa’adatu Garba Dogonbauchi, has said that women’s role will continue to be of significance in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Dogonbauchi, who said this in her congratulatory message to President Tinubu on the occasion of his 72nd birthday, said the roles of the women aside being catalytic to reforms and re-engineering of important sectors, have been given paramount importance in the current administration with women already saddled with critical and important roles.

While thanking the president for the opportunities given to the women and women-related issues, she said, “the global success rate of performance across leadership roles amongst women is significantly high. Mistakes can be inevitably part of our progress, and are part of our lessons learnt when we encounter such, and with perseverance, we shall always come out good.”

She said: “Women have genuine capacity to perform at any given position. Women’s voices anywhere and any day are synonymous to positive change. The Nigerian women solely believe in this government and will also continue to give their immense support in development. We in the administration, under the guidance of the policies and programmes of Mr. President will continue to work hard.”

“Also, I want to once again appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for finding me worthy of the enormous responsibility, as a Federal Commissioner representing Kaduna State at the National Population Commission. We have worked tirelessly towards the emergence of this administration and we are all going to play critical roles in the renewal of hope of all Nigerians in most challenging times,” she added.
