The federal government has expressed displeasure over Nigeria’s low ranking in the Global Innovation Index which is 109th among the 132 economies featured in the 2023 rankings.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, said this on Monday in Abuja at the Award Ceremony of the 4th Annual Federal Civil Service Innovation Competition.

She said innovation is about identifying problems, stirring up creativity and engaging in divergent thinking to derive solutions to improve the quality of life.
