The resolution followed a motion of urgent national importance by Hon. Jeremiah Umaru.
Umaru, in his motion, noted that on March 16, 2024, there was a heavy rainstorm, which resulted in significant destruction and displacement of communities and schools in Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency of Nasarawa State.
He said the rainstorm rendered his constituents homeless, disrupted the education of students in the communities, and put some residents in critical conditions with various degrees of injuries.
