Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested one Destiny Paul (24) for allegedly impersonating the Kaduna State government and using the same to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, said the suspect was arrested by the operatives of the anti-kidnapping and cybercrime unit of the command while acting on a petition from the force headquarters.
According to him, the petition states that a fraudster from Edo State was impersonating the Kaduna State government and defrauded unsuspecting members of the public.
He said the suspect was geo-located to the Edo State Police Command’s jurisdiction.

He said through technical intelligence, the suspect was picked up along the Ubiaja-Uromi road in Ubiaja, Edo State by the operatives of the command.
Chidi said the suspect confessed to using the Kaduna State government profile to defraud people.
