Niger gets public complaints commissioner

The National Assembly has approved the appointment of Malam Abdurahman Mohammed as Commissioner for the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) for Niger State.
The appointment is for  three years  as provided in Act P37 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and renewable for another 3 years at the pleasure of the National Assembly.
Mohammed is a public affairs analyst and retired public sector information officer.
He  is an alumnus of the College of Journalism, London, the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ), Abuja, an associate of the Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and has attended several other professional courses.
Mohammed retired at the attainment of 60 years  as the Head, Information and Public Relations of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
He has since assumed duty.
