So-Safe arrests 2 suspected thieves

Men of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) have arrested two men over alleged burglary.

The spokesman of the corps, Moruf Yusuf, said officers of the corps in Ado-Odo/Ota Zonal Command based on information were deployed to Agoro community to counter a burglary in progress.

He explained that there was an emergency call from the community needing prompt response of the corps and that officers swung into action and two suspects, Toyeeb Yekini and Ajie Victor, were intercepted on a motorbike.

Yusuf said the suspects confessed to having come to the area almost two hours before the burglary took place and stole a 7.5kva alternator diesel generator, adding that the generator was recovered from where it was kept in the Ilepa area of Ifo LGA.

He further said the suspects and the exhibits had been transferred to the police.
