Akeredolu spoke truth to power – Gov Aiyedatiwa

The Ondo State governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has described his late principal and former governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu, as a great man who took all the risks to serve the people of the state and humanity.

Aiyedatiwa recalls that the former governor took an unusual sacrifice which was considered as a ‘suicide mission’ when he rallied his colleagues in the Southwest to form the regional security outfit, Amotekun Corps.

The governor spoke on Thursday at a commendation service held at the state sports complex in Akure as part of the activities lined up for the burial rites of the late Akeredolu.
