NSCDC parades 2 over killing of suspected sex worker in Ekiti

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ekiti State has paraded two men, Saviour Daniel (25) and David Isaiah, for allegedly abducting and killing a suspected commercial sex worker, Comfort James (26), in Ado-Ekiti.

NSCDC’s state Commandant, Agboola Adisa, while parading the suspects before newsmen, said the command received a complaint alleging the kidnap of a commercial sex worker on February 13.

Agboola said the victim was last seen on February 6, from a brothel on Isato Street, Ado-Ekiti, where she was picked up by Daniel.

The NSCDC boss explained that Daniel and his accomplice, Isaiah, contacted the victim’s friend and demanded a ransom of N1m.

He said the victim’s friend reported the matter to the corps which led to the arrest of the suspects.

He further said, “Upon enquiry into the case, the suspects admitted that they kidnapped the victim in the false guise of engaging her services as a commercial sex worker.”

He explained further that the suspects took turns to rape her, killed her afterwards and dumped her remains in a farmland and made away with her cell phone and continued to demand ransom.
