Operatives of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) have arrested 10 men: Sunday Olude (22), Sampson Adeoti (25), Sunday Oluwaseyi (24), Muhammed Danladi (22), Wasiu Folarin (21), Tope Akinola (20), Ade Adejare (23), Alabi Segun, Wahab Shobayo and Bidemi Oyatope, over alleged extortion, cultism and robbery.
The corps’ spokesman, Moruf Yusuf, who disclosed this on Sunday, explained that follobwing complaints by communities in the Sango axis, the state’s Commander of So-Safe Corps, Soji Ganzallo, gave the Zonal Commander of Ado-Odo/Ota Area Command, Tajudeen Odunmbaku, marching orders to bring normalcy to the communities.
He said a team of the corps arrested some of the criminal elements while they were extorting money from their victims at the Sango garage under bridge on Ijoko Road by and at the Joju Bus Stop.
He noted that, “It was so disheartening to see the suspects charging towards their victims who were passersby to extort money from them.”

Yusuf said items found with the suspects included charms, a pocket knife and illicit drugs, adding that they had been transferred to the Sango Divisional Police Headquarters.
