Acting Vice Chancellor, Plateau State University (PLASU) Bokkos, Prof. Shadrack Best, has promised to do all it takes to ensure that academic activities resume soon.
This assurance is coming after months of disruption as a result of the industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), PLASU chapter.
He spoke at a meeting with a coalition of Students who welcomed him.
Best stressed that the prolonged strike action had crippled academic activities and rendered students idle.

He thanked the students for their warm welcome and acceptance upon his recent assumption of the mantle of leadership following his appointment by Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
He said his mandate and mission is well defined and is in tandem with the “Time Is Now” philosophy of the Mutfwang’s administration in restoring hope and the confidence of not only the students, but their parents as well as the stakeholders.
