Majalisan Maccido Andaha Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization has donated a hall to Nunku Community in Nasarawa State.
Chairman of the NGO, Sani Umar, who disclosed this during the inauguration
and handing over of the hall to the community Tuesday in Akwanga LGA, said the hall which cost the group over N10 million was part of the group’s corporate social responsibility to better the lives of people in the rural areas.
He said the construction of the hall started in May 2017. “It took three months to build and it consists of a hall, offices and shops,” he said.
He said the hall had capacity for 1000 people, and that apart from the hall, the group had also sunk boreholes for the community.
