A yet-to-be-identified man has reportedly lost his life in a motor accident along Pipeline, Offa Garage area, Ilọrin.
According to a witness, Wasiu Olalekan, who spoke to our correspondent during a visit to the scene on Monday, the deceased was hit by a Dana truck.
An official of the Kwara State Traffic Management Authority (KWATMA), Mr Abdul Ayinde, who confirmed the incident, attributed it to a brake failure.
“The driver of the Dana truck lost control of the vehicle after his brake failed and hit the deceased on top of a motorcycle with two passengers.

“It took quite a while to pull the okada from under the truck because of the impact of the severity,” he added.
He said the corpse of the deceased had been evacuated while the injured victims were receiving treatment at the hospital.
