Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested four suspected kidnappers, Aminu Sadio (24), Umar Aminu (22), Adamu Abubakar (30) and Adamu Tahir (30), in Kano State after they collected a ransom from their victims who they kidnapped in Fugar town in Etsako West LGA of Edo State.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, explained that they received a report of the kidnap of four persons in Fugar on January 23, and that the suspects collected ransom money through Union Bank and Moniepoint.

Chidi said the police using intelligence-based investigation arrested Sadio and Aminu, owners of the two accounts into which the ransom money was paid, and later arrested their accomplices, Abubakar and Tahir.
