Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State has stated that Eid-El-Kabir celebration which involves prayers and sacrifice of animals in the cause of Allah underscores the significance of sacrifice in human endeavour.
The governor was quoted in a statement signed by the office of his Special Adviser, Media and Strategy, Ali M. Ali, congratulated with Muslims on the celebration of a momentous occasion.

He said the occasion goes beyond merriment to the deeper import of sacrifice encapsulated in the slaughtering of animals adding that such an important lesson should be a constant reminder of the need for all to sacrifice more for the betterment and upliftment of society.
