Open letter to Professor James Ayatse, Tor-Tiv, the 5th

His Royal Majesty Sir, Tiv people are not experiencing the needed growth as their sons and daughters who are in positions of power and authority hardly assist the younger ones to achieve success.

Lack of support to the younger ones cannot in any way bring the development which the Tiv nation needs to claim its rightful position in this kill-and-occupy system introduced by herdsmen, Boko Haram and bandits in our country.

I must say that I am not happy with the recent incident where a Benue-born TV Rising Star was belittled by Honourable Terseer Ugbor at the National Assembly in Abuja.

SPONSOR AD

According to a report in Blueprint Newspaper, the young producer and host of the Arena – a TV programme on Kaftan Television Abuja, visited Ugbor, presented the issue of a bad road within Ugbor’s constituency which is the federal government’s road that passes through Ishagev-ya and links with the Obudu roundabout in Cross River State. He also told Ugbor about his TV programme and how honourable Ugbor can support the growth of the programme.

I did brief research about the young man and discovered that his effort as a journalist raised the salary of private security guards at the Abuja branch of World Bank from N40,000 to over N70,000 as I write now.

Also, his effort has for now put to rest the extortion and other forms of abnormality students at the Benue State University were experiencing in the hands of lecturers and management staff of the university. There are many more to know about him.

I am using this platform to call on Professor James Ayatse, Tor-Tiv the 5th, to please call the Tiv people to order. The other tribes seem to be progressing and doing far better than Tiv because they help the younger ones to grow and support those who are growing to grow faster for future replacement.
