Coach Jose Peseiro is leaving nothing to chance as the Super Eagles march on for a fourth AFCON title and so he has gone tough on the team by warning he will throw out any player who breaks camp rules.
The Super Eagles stars must not be late to team meetings, pick telephone calls during meetings, they must obey team curfews with bed time being 11pm and must not entertain female visitors.
The players have been completely cordoned off on the fourth floor of the Pullman Hotel in Abidjan with the team’s chief security officer on all-round surveillance.
“Peseiro has gone tough on the players. He warned that he will not hesitate to expel any player who flouts camp rules as they stay on course to win the AFCON,” a source told SCORENigeria

“The man is just a game away from reaching the target the NFF set for him to get a new contract and as such he is not smiling or joking.”
On Friday, the Super Eagles will hope to reach the semifinal of the 2023 AFCON by flying past dark horses Angola.
In nine head-head meetings, Nigeria have won three and drawn five matches with the Palancas Negras, who have surprised at this AFCON with some big results while playing attractive attacking football.
